
Wild is quite good with soft toys, but he has to remember these are actually Vulcan’s, and he’s letting Wild play with them. Wild also picks up clothing and shoes and puts them on his bed, he rarely damages anything unless it is paper.

Wild at Martinborough yesterday. Many thanks to Lawrence and Shelley for hosting the run, Vulcan thought it was the best run he has been on, and Wild really enjoyed his first run ever, as a pet.

Wild did amazingly well on the run at Martinborough, was well behaved and clearly gained more confidence during the afternoon, even approaching people directly.

Wild (Homebush Wild) joined us on Saturday. He retired from racing in March 2013, was neutered a couple of weeks ago, has never been in a house before. He’s got a lot to learn, but is very smart and inquisitive – he’s doing very well.
He’s not at all confident, but is becoming quite playful. Definitely defers to Vulcan, who is the boss; he went for a walk with Vulcan’s sister Missy earlier today, and was perfectly behaved and clearly happy to have the company.
He’s had a hard life.



This is why greyhounds can fit such big tongues in their mouths 🙂
