Opie died last week not long after being diagnosed with cancer.
It is a lot quiter around the house with only 2 dogs, and their behaviour has changed noticeably. They are both more interested in toys, Opie wouldn’t allow that before, the toys were clearly all hers.
Here is Rocks snuggling up to one of the toys last night.

Magpie lying comfortably in the sun in the garden. She’s turned out to be a great dog, we’re so glad we gave her a chance and kept her.

Magpie’s first walk in the bush. She doesn’t get stressed out but is very alert and curious. Unfortunately she tends to stop suddenly and you are likely to fall over her, it is very frustrating. Might be one of the worst dogs we’ve had for bush walking.

Mags in one of her favorite spots. She follows us around everywhere.

Opie is a lot smarter than she looks.

Opie has made herself comfortable on the better outdoor sofa.

Magpie (Amuri Magic) is one of 2 foster dogs currently with us and Rocks.
She is pretty big for a female – probably bigger than Rocks, and quite interactive. She gets quite stressed when out walking, tends to be reactive to other dogs and particularly small active white dogs. Walks very poorly on the lead but is perfectly behaved around the house, and can run up and down stairs.
She’s not Rocks’ favorite dog, he’s growled at her a few times and she backs right off when he does this.
Not sure how long we’ll be looking after her, but she’s great company and fun to have around.
Letties had 4 teeth out a couple of days ago, she’s always had dental issues. She seems to have recovered pretty quickly and is now relaxing as normal.
